The SAICA anticipates that this ranking will greatly bolster the reputation of its members in the market and attract new talent to the profession. The SAICA is acknowledged as a top global accounting institute, offering a broad array of support services to its members and affiliates. 

 The survey indicates a significant increase in trust towards CA’s globally since 2018, with a notable rise of seven points since 2021. Despite fluctuations in trust levels for other international financial professions, CA’s have successfully established a distinct reputation for themselves. This is especially notable in South Africa, where the trust rating has surged from 85% to 96% in the last two years. 

The survey examined four key aspects of trust – ability, integrity, dependability, and purpose. Ninety-one percent of South African businesses now recognise CA’s as their foremost allies in confronting economic adversity.
